Effective 12 October 2026.
The short version: Tabletop Hacks has no accounts, sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and shows no ads. What you make with the tools stays in your browser. This page says exactly what that means, and it will change before any of that does — not after.
What you save stays in your browser
Packs, saved results, encounters, score sheets, timers, roll history, and settings are kept in your browser's local storage on your device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else, and we have no copy. You can see all of it, back it up, or restore it on the Your data page. Clearing your browsing data for this site deletes it for good.
Files you import and export
Importing a pack or a backup reads the file inside your browser. Exporting builds the file inside your browser and hands it to your downloads. Neither uploads anything.
Shareable links
A shared Generator link carries the generator's name and a random seed
after the # in the address. Browsers do not send that part
of an address to the server, but anyone you give the link to can read
it — and if it uses a custom pack, the person opening it needs that
pack too.
What other services see
The web host that serves these pages receives the ordinary details every web request carries — your IP address, the page asked for, and your browser's user-agent — and may keep them in standard server logs. We do not use those logs to identify anyone.
That is the complete list. No other third party is contacted.
Children
The site collects no personal information from anyone, children included.
Changes
If Tabletop Hacks ever adds analytics, advertising, a mailing list, or a store, this page will say what each one collects and why before it goes live, and the effective date above will change.
